Genesis Overview
Genesis is the explosive beginning of the Get Rich Quick™ protocol — a carefully orchestrated distribution phase designed to reward early believers and set the stage for what's to come.
During Genesis, participants can stake eligible berachain ecosystem tokens to earn $GRQ. It's your first chance to get in on the ground floor of what might be the most entertaining financial experiment on berachain.
During Genesis, a total of 100,000 GRQ will be distributed over the 7-day period to participants who stake eligible tokens.
Genesis Timeline
Pre-Genesis Hype (Current Phase)
Community building, documentation release, and preparation for the big launch. Get your wallets ready and your expectations unreasonably high.
Genesis Launch (Tuesday, April 8th)
The official start of token distribution. Stake your eligible tokens to start earning $GRQ at the highest possible rates.
Genesis Completion
After 7 days, Genesis ends and the protocol transitions to its next phase. All staked tokens are returned to users.
How Genesis Works
During Genesis, you'll stake eligible tokens to earn $GRQ. The process is designed to be simple, but with enough complexity to make you feel like you're doing something sophisticated:
Stake Eligible Tokens
Deposit your berachain ecosystem tokens into the Genesis pools. Each token has a different allocation and most have a 1% deposit fee.
Earn Daily Emissions
Each day during Genesis, a fixed amount of $GRQ is distributed proportionally to all stakers based on their share of the pool.
Boost Your Rewards
Certain combinations of tokens or staking strategies can boost your rewards. The longer you stake, the more you earn.
Claim Your $GRQ
At the end of Genesis, all staked tokens are returned, and you keep your earned $GRQ to use in the next phase of the protocol.

Pro Tip: Allocate higher percentages to tokens with higher reward allocations for optimal returns.
The Maximalist
Go all-in on the highest allocation token (GRQ/wBERA at 27%). This high-risk, high-reward approach could yield the biggest returns if that token maintains its allocation advantage.
Pro Tip: The GRQ/wBERA pool has no deposit fee, making it even more attractive.
The Stablecoin Strategist
Focus on the USDC pool for lower risk. With a 23% allocation, it offers significant rewards while providing value stability during the Genesis period.

What Happens After Genesis?
Once Genesis concludes, the protocol transitions to its next phase. Here's what to expect:
Liquidity Pools Launch
The GRQ-WBERA liquidity pool opens, allowing trading of $GRQ and providing the first price discovery.
Boardroom Activation
The Pyramid Lounge (our Boardroom) activates, allowing $sGRQ stakers to earn protocol revenues.
Expansion Phase Begins
The protocol enters its first expansion phase, with algorithmic mechanisms working to maintain the $GRQ peg.
Genesis Rewards
